LAMDA is a renowned international education intuition, specialising in courses and exams in the dramatic arts, communication and performance. Our technical classes within the LAMDA syllabus are designed to enhance your acting ability, confidence and oracy skills.  

Through the exploration of playscripts, improvisation, devising and warm-up games, we focus on physical and vocal training whilst giving you the freedom to experiment and find your own style of acting. 

You will also develop your ability to interpret and portray a wide range of characters, learn lines, develop your communication skills and help direct your own script extracts in preparation for your exam. 

Our LAMDA Acting classes provides you with the opportunity to showcase your skills in front of an examiner either by performing two monologues or one monologue and one duologue. This is not a daunting experience but one in which recognises your progression, achievements and hard work with an accredited qualification.

LAMDA Acting uses a grading system where you can work through each grade. There are 8 grades in total, including medals and UCAS points attached to Grades 6 to 8.
